Opinion: but how much I liked this Buttafuoco!! Of course personal opinion but if you are here it is because you trust a little 😉. It ages 24 months in barrique but you don't feel it. Splendid acidity perfect and strangely present from the beginning to the end of the drink. When you say vinous scent, of black pudding here, shame it was a little young (opened '19 in 2024), lots of beautiful green tannins never invasive or unripe; even the balsamic on the finish was excellent. A particular wine that not everyone will like, shame a little dull on the nose.

Pairings: game, even seasoned cured meats, with pheasant, hare, deer it would be excellent, with 50/60 month parmesan, cacciatore risotto, pork.
